Monday August 12
So, this week there is a decision to be made regarding goals for the fitness competition. "Fortunately," I have a long way to go:
Weight: 220
Body fat: 36.2%
Fat: 79.64
Lean: 140.36
I'm not sure exactly where I'd like to get by Christmas, but certainly almost anything would be an improvement.
I'll be starting Starting Strength at the gym today.
Meal 1: 3/4 cup oatmeal with 1.5 cups whole milk, nespresso latte
Meal 2: .5lb turkey sandwich, whole wheat, swiss, lettuce, tomato, mustard
Meal 3: Muscle Milk shake after workout
Meal 4: Braised chicken with eggplant and zucchini, 2 beers
Workout:
Starting Strength workout A
Squats 3x5 @ 85
Bench 3x5 @ 85
Deadlift 1x5 @ 135
Feel pretty good about this first day. Ate fairly clean, worked out, felt good!

Goals
My goal by Christmas would be to be 195lbs which from where i stand is a hefty goal - im 230#'s right now.
For me, nutrition is the toughest piece of all this, im pretty religious with getting to crossfit at least 4 days a week, but id like to average 5.
Meals so far today:
Meal 1: 2 eggs 2 pieces of bacon
Meal 2: large grilled chicken Caesar salad no croutons
Ive made some steady progress following my original 90 day plan ive lost almost 10 lbs in 3 weeks...
